Monza, 24 gennaio 2013 – “Quando mi ha dato uno spintone, non ci ho visto più. Perché è vero che lui aveva oltre cinquant’anni di meno, ma io sono ancora forte…”. E forte Nicola Scalise, 83 anni, lo è davvero, nel corpo e soprattutto nello spirito. La sua energia gli ha permesso di tener testa l’altro pomeriggio a un energumeno di 30 anni, un marocchino senza fissa dimora e con il permesso di soggiorno bell’è scaduto, che ha scelto proprio la persona sbagliata per fare il gradasso: ha picchiato infatti il padre di Francesco Scalise, attuale vicequestore e primo dirigente del «Commissariato di Polizia di Monza, per farsi giustizia di quel «vecchietto» che aveva osato protestare quando aveva visto un altro giovane marocchino mettersi a urinare senza alcun senso del pudore in mezzo ai giardinetti pubblici di via Azzone Visconti, a due passi dal centro di Monza. Davanti a mamme e bambini, che tutti i giorni accorrono numerosi a giocare e a passare qualche ora di svago all’aperto. Nicola Scalise, che è uomo tutto d’uno pezzo, ex tramviere in pensione, ex attivista politico (per cinque anni è stato consigliere comunale a Monza eletto in una lista civica di destra ma a sostegno dell’allora sindaco di sinistra Michele Faglia), non è stato a guardare. Non ne è proprio capace. E così di fronte «all’atto vergognoso» – sono parole sue – andato in scena martedì intorno alle 17 è andato a rimproverare il marocchino, che si trovava ai giardinetti con un amico connazionale. Quello che non si aspettava è che proprio quest’ultimo, mentre il responsabile del gesto incivile si allontanava, gli si scagliasse contro. «Prima – è il racconto dello stesso Nicola Scalise – si è messo a urlare insulti contro di me: “Italiani di merda… meritate di essere ammazzati tutti!”. Poi, mi è venuto addosso e mi ha spintonato. Allora io mi sono divincolato e l’ho spinto via a mia volta». Il giovane marocchino ingaggia però una colluttazione e finisce addirittura col buttare per terra il malcapitato. «Sono caduto come uno straccio» ammette Scalise. Non è però finita lì. Visto che Scalise si rialza subito, il marocchino afferra un bastone e gli si butta nuovamente addosso. «Mi ha spinto contro un palo puntandomi il bastone al collo – prosegue Scalise – ma sono riuscito a liberarmi». Nel frattempo, sul posto arriva una Volante della Polizia che blocca il nordafricano e lo arresta. Al processo per direttissima di ieri al Tribunale di Monza, il giudice ha convalidato l’arresto, anche se l’udienza è stata rinviata. Intanto l’83enne Nicola Scalise, graffiato e tumefatto, è stato medicato al pronto soccorso, dove gli sono stati riscontrati lesioni al polso e un trauma alle gambe giudicati guaribili in 15 giorni. «Ce ne sono troppi di personaggi del genere in giro – commenta ancora Scalise -, quando lavoravo sugli autobus ne ho incontrati tanti. Mettersi a far pipì davanti a tutti, incurante di donne e bambini, proprio non lo potevo sopportare e dovevo reagire. Mica mi pento di quello che ho fatto…».
